NFC doesn’t react when I tap a sticker on a scan screen
Many phones turn NFC off while the camera is on. Use the Camera / NFC switch on the scan screen to change to NFC.
Which label printers work?
NIIMBOT Bluetooth label printers. Tested: D11_H (14 × 40 mm labels) and B1 (50 × 30 mm). The app detects the model automatically.
Which NFC stickers should I buy?
NTAG213, NTAG215 or NTAG216. On metal toolboxes use anti-metal stickers.
Does it need internet?
No. Everything you do in EZBin works without internet. You only need a connection to open a store link or share a backup or report.
How do I move to a new phone?
Make a backup with photos and share it to Google Drive (or another place you choose), install the app on the new phone, and choose “Restore a backup” in the first-run setup (or later in Settings → Restore from backup).
The printer doesn’t connect
Turn the printer on and close the NIIMBOT app, because only one app can use the printer at a time. Then go to Settings → Printer & labels → Your printers and tap your printer. If you have several, tap the one you want.
Labels print faint or cut off
In Settings → Printer & labels, choose your label size (it is printed on the roll box as width × length) and raise the darkness.
How much does EZBin cost?
EZBin is free for 1 inventory and 100 items, with every core feature. EZBin Pro is $29.99, a one-time payment (launch price), with no subscription: unlimited items and inventories, lending, custom fields and custom reports. You can try Pro free for 14 days when you install.
Can I use a printed label and an NFC tag on the same item?
Yes. Both carry the same EZBin code: scanning the label or tapping the tag opens the same item or box. In Quick Add, New item and New box, switch on Print label and/or Write NFC tag after saving.
How do I count my stock?
Open Count, scan or tap an item and type how many there are (or tap “It is right”). The stock is corrected, with Undo, and the count is saved in Activity.
How do I delete my data?
Delete items in the app, or uninstall the app. Keep a backup first if you may need the data again.
